ITINERARY BY DAY
Day 1: Yangon – Hpa An
This morning, leaving the bustle Yangon for the countryside unfolds from flat plains to hilly terrain as you drive four hours to reach Hpa An. Arrival Hpa-an, having lunch at one of local restaurant. After lunch, continue visit to Hpa-an sightseeing to see Bayintnyi Cave, Ya Thae Pyan Cave, Kaw Goon Cave and some famous place. Later as the sun begins to fade, hop on a boat for a sunset cruise down the Thanlywin River.

Day 2: Hpa An – boat trip to Mawlamyine
After breakfast, we take the private boat to Mawlamyine (Moulmein) which is the 4th largest city of Myanmar as well as 1st capital of British Burma, boasting of intact colonial era buildings. While cruising, enjoy the scenic along the Thanlwin River. We will stop at U Nar Auk Monastery, which was built during the British Colonialization from the finest craftsmen during this time. We also visit the Mon Cultural Museum with its displays of bronze, silverware, ceramics and sculptures (closed on Sundays and Public Holidays). Visit clay pot workshop nearby Mawlamyine to learn about the handmade clay pots. Then, visit Kyaikthanlan Pagoda, immortalized in Rudyard Kipling’s poem. End your day at the town viewpoint before returning to Hpa An.
Day 3: Hpa An – Golden Rock
This morning, we head drive to Kyaikhtiyo for seeing one of Myanmar’s most unique and revered Buddhist sites, Golden Rock. This huge granite boulder is thought to be held in place by a single strand of Buddha’s hair! It takes about two hours to reach Kimpun base camp and you will need to take a special truck (local standard) up to the Golden Rock Pagoda. Upon arrival at the truck station on the mountain, we will walk up to the Golden Rock pagoda by passing local snacks sellers – take this chance to snap some colorful photos. Walk around the Golden Rock pagoda and enjoy the stunning scenery awaiting us at the top. Covered in gold leaf the rock dazzles as it changes colors throughout the day.
Golden Rock – Kyaikiyo
Day 4: Golden Rock – Bago – Yangon
After breakfast at hotel, walking to the truck camp to ride open light truck car. Arrival base camp we will drive back to Yangon. Lunch at local restaurant. On the way half trip we will visit to Bago, on the way in Bago with Kyaikhpun Pagoda, visit to Shwethalyaung Pagoda, Kyaik Khat Wine Monasty. After having lunch at Bago, Grand Palace Kanbawza thardi & visit to small market at Bago to see local foods selling shops. After that, we will transfer back to the hotel in Yangon or to the airport for your flight to the next destination.
